My father taught me when I was very young that stories are so much more exciting when you read them like you care. It's a lesson I took to heart, and started the path that has led me here.
From community theatre, to instructional videos, to storytime with my students, to leading live workshops, it all comes back to those bedtimes with Dad, and the care with which he read every story to make sure each one connected.
